Parent’s Reviews!

A Full Member school of the American Montessori Society, our school features fully equipped, spacious classrooms and a large shaded playground, including a childrens’ vegetable garden and butterfly garden.

We offer a flexible range of year round programs for children from 6 weeks old through 9 years, as well as afterschool care for ages 6-12 years old, with enrollment accepted throughout the year.

We are expertly staffed with AMS certified teachers, Montessori interns, and trained assistants. Many of our staff are mothers themselves, and as such really know how to care for the children they are responsible for. Together we work to create stimulating learning environments fully equipped with Montessori materials and activities to engage and prepare our students.

“Since I remember, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. During my college years, I took a job in a Montessori school, with toddlers. At this time I was not sure what Montessori was, I remember getting to that classroom and seeing toddlers work so independently and in such a deep concentration, that I thought, “This is amazing.” From then on, I got so interested in learning more about Montessori, and I started researching online and reading Montessori books to get more familiar with the method. Everything I read was so inspiring and then, I knew that Montessori was the path I wanted to pursue. Soon after graduating from the University of Houston-Clear Lake I took the Montessori training at the Houston Montessori Center. I have been in the Montessori environment for over 10 years. Montessori, for me, has become not only an educational approach, but also a lifestyle. I am delighted to join Clear Lake Montessori School as one of their infants and toddler teachers.”
