Infant (6 weeks – 18 months)

The environment is specifically designed to meet the growing needs of infants and help with their gross and fine motor development. The room is spacious allowing for freedom of movement, as well as an area for younger infants. It is equipped with customized stairs and bars that the babies use for pulling-up exercises.

The sleeping area is isolated and quiet. Older infants sleep on floor mats. The eating area is equipped with a weaning table and child-sized chairs instead of the use of high chairs. There is a child/staff ratio of 4: 1 in this community.
